Here are some pictures of an anvil pattern we made. The interesting thing about this pattern is that we made it without drawings. We worked from an existing anvil and changed certain parts of it to better suit our customers needs.

I believe for this one we used a mix of fiberglass and hardwood.
Usually when we make anvil patterns, they are all hardwood though.
That is the gating system used to feed the metal into the pattern. It gets cut off once the metal cools.
