Don't Put Staples in Wood!

We were hired by a sign company to make a couple of fir posts. We wanted a good piece of fir, so we hand picked it from our local supplier. We picked the piece with the least amount of cracks in it, and the tightest grain. Unfortunately we didn't notice the staples in it until we got the piece back to the shop.

Bowl Pattern

We made this bowl pattern recently. Usually we would coat the entire pattern with silver pattern coating, but we thought it looked good clear. It's a short run pattern, so coating color isn't critical.
